TVE is a HDTV video encoder developed to meet the needs of the growing consumer multimedia market. It is designed for use in high performance system-on-chip (SoC) video applications including set-top boxes,DVD player, games consoles and video cameras.

The digital Video Encoder supports multiple standard TV format (SD) such as variable NTSC, PAL or SECAM color standards with 6 simultaneous output channels : Composite video ( CVBS ), Y/C video ( S-Video ) and YPrPb( or RGB) component signals . Besides , it supports High-definition TV formats such as 1080p , 1080I , 720p and 480p with the YPrPb component signals .
